Another time that you will need to get a new hair straightener is when the cord is splitting. What some people think is that they can simply wrap electrical tape around the wire and it will be just like new but that is not the case. If you have an exposed wire then the chances of you getting electrocuted are much higher. What I would recommend is to just throw the entire hair straightener away because it is better to buy something that you feel safe using than something that you could get seriously injured with. I know this might cost you a little bit of money at first but trust me, you will be glad that you made the change.
The last thing that you need to know about when to get a new hair straightener is if you just don?t like it anymore then you should get a new one. Most women love the look that they can achieve with a hair straightener and when they no longer have one then they start to feel down about themselves. What I recommend is that if your hair straightener is not doing as good of a job as it once was then I would simply get a new one. It is more important that you feel good about yourself then to save a little bit of money.
