YES! I did some research on breastfeeding for a speech class about a year ago. This among other things has been researched which has shown that breastfeeding greatly reduces the risks of breast cancer. Let me know if you have any more questions. I an give you some references.

No, not like that its good for the child thats all. They won?t get any health problems if they take atleast up to 1year.
